I’m Indy or as you know me Facebeatbyindy. I’m 25 and have a partner and a  daughter. I have been doing makeup for 10years I started taking clients when I was 15 and had massive dreams to be a makeup artist.

 

I completed my cert 3 in beauty, cert 2 in community services and diploma in beauty. I started working at 13 because mum said if I wanted to buy high end makeup I had to pay for it. Well I took that literally so started working at my sister in laws hairdresser for some pocket money. Ever since then I have constantly and continuously worked 4 jobs.

 

It’s a lot I know but big dreams grow from hard work. Now I work for my business, I’m a makeup artist for pure beauty photography and you may have seen me at your newborn photoshoots doing makeup for sdphotography mildura. That’s 3 I know butt one more fun gig coming soon.

 

I love charity and choose a new one every year to fundraiser for. $10 from each appointment goes towards the charity of my choice. Last year we raised over $600 for the black dog institute and this year we are fundraising for safe steps. I’m a huge mental health advocate having faced my own struggles and lost so many friends and 2 brothers to mental illness. I use my platform to raise awareness.

 

I also advocate for family and domestic violence prevention because of personal experiences I’ve had. My journey here hasn’t been a kind or easy one but I’ve still made it to where I am today.

 

Since becoming an mua I’ve done countless fun photoshoots, been featured in a magazine and won many awards for my photoshoots. I’m all for community over competition and this mindset has given me so many opportunities to work with amazing creatives, which I’m so grateful for. I’m very bright and a little goofy but absolutely adore meeting people and making them feel confident and beautiful in themselves.
